PUC’s College Days are three and a half action-packed days where you can experience everything PUC has to offer as you decide where to attend college. Here are just five reasons why you should consider coming to College Days.
Learn about PUC’s location
One of the best aspects of PUC is its location. Not only is it a beautiful place to live with numerous opportunities to get out in nature, but the campus is also blessed with proximity to incredible places like Napa, San Francisco, Tahoe, and many more. You can visit a museum in the city or spend time on the coast. Your options are limitless.
During College Days, you’ll get to experience St. Helena in person. Be sure to have your camera handy to capture the town’s charm. Who knows, you might find your future favorite cafes or restaurants.
Join an interest session with a professor in your chosen academic area
As you sit in two college classes and experience showcasing many of PUC’s departments, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of what program you want to join and start getting to know your possible future professors.
Attend worship and social events
Our campus is excited to welcome you and make this an unforgettable weekend. You will have the opportunity to mingle during Vespers and Afterlite, hear an inspiring message during Sabbath School, and take part in exciting sporting events. You’ll also get to have fun at PUC’s Fall Fest, learning more about campus clubs and athletics as you immerse yourself in the energy of campus life.
Hear about PUC directly from students
You’ll constantly be interacting with current students, which is the perfect way to really understand the heart and soul of the Pioneers community. You will stay in their rooms, join them for meals in the cafe, sit in on their classes, worship with them, and attend a panel where you can ask them any questions you might have.
You will immerse yourself in college life
One of the best aspects of attending College Days is spending time on campus and experiencing what it’s like to be a student here. As you walk around campus, picture yourself as a student. Envision how great it will be to make this place your home for your college years. Make the most of your visit by asking questions and taking advantage of every opportunity to talk with current students and professors to see if PUC is the right fit for you.
We hope you will join us for College Days. There is no fee to attend, and travel reimbursements are available up to $100 per person for California academies and up to $200 per person for out-of-state academies. Food and lodging are covered.
