Stress to Success: Meet Your New Favorite Campus Resource

PUC’s Student Success Center (SSC) is a welcoming and inclusive environment that provides numerous services and resources to support student success and persistence toward graduation. With Director Kharolynn Pascual Smith, Coordinator Cheryl Rick, and Academic Mentor Ellen Balk-Dick, the SCC team supplies a foundation in a strengths-forward approach to empower each student’s self-efficacy as they establish and pursue their personal, academic, and professional goals. 

Services Offered: 

  • Collaborative mentoring and coaching relationships 
  • Tutoring, writing lab, and group study sessions 
  • Academic advising for undeclared majors
  • Study spaces, snacks, and beverages
  • Guidance for students on academic probation 
  • CliftonStrenths for Student Talent Assessment 
  • Opportunities for spiritual nurture and support 
  • Workshops and seminars for skills development and personal growth 
  • Connection to other campus services and resources for holistic student support 

The SCC is next door to the Dining Commons on the walkway toward Davidian and Chan Shun Halls.
