PUC’s department of music gives students from all disciplines the opportunity to explore music both individually and collaboratively with fellow students and other community members. Whether you’re a vocalist or an instrumentalist, music major or not, there’s a place for you in the music community at PUC. A place to grow your appreciation, understanding, and love for music.

Fast Facts:
- We have five $5,000 renewable scholarships for musicians willing and able to anchor at least two of our ensembles. This scholarship is available for new students only, and an audition is required.
- Our professors and instructors have studied at prestigious schools such as San Francisco Conservatory of Music, University of Indiana-Bloomington, University of California, Irvine, and others.
- The department of music is home to Paulin Center for the Arts, a community arts program offering private music lessons for students of all ages from our highly qualified and experienced instructors.
- Paulin Hall, where the department of music is located, is host to the annual Golden State Choral Competition, a statewide event for nearly 400 students in the state’s top high school choirs.
- Small classes mean students can connect with faculty on a deeper level, gaining mentorship, personalized instruction, and whole-person support throughout their college experience.
