Thanksgiving Week Scripture Reading

As we’ve entered Thanksgiving week, we encourage you to slow down, pause, and practice gratitude with these Bible verses.

Monday: Psalm 105

This chapter reflects on how God has provided in the past and led you through every season. Start your week by reading Psalm 105, by looking to Him for His strength and seeking Him always.

Tuesday: Psalm 100

This five-verse chapter is for giving grateful praise to the Lord. Start your day with worship by reading Psalm 100 and remember that His love endures forever.

Wednesday: 2 Corinthians 9

This chapter discusses how gratitude can overflow into giving and how generosity is an act of worship. 2 Corinthians 9 encourages generosity and urges giving from the heart, not in compulsion or reluctantly, because God loves a cheerful giver and can bless you abundantly.

Thursday: Psalm 103

You’re almost to the weekend. Psalm 103 reminds you to worship the Lord with gladness and remember all His compassion and all the blessings He has given you.

Friday: Philippians 1

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome your weekend by giving thanks to Him for the people He has placed in your life and for helping you get through the week.

As the holiday season begins, take time to remember God’s goodness through his mercies and peace.
